Bia is a street food pop-up based in Edinburgh, Scotland. We specialise in Irish and Scottish inspired cuisine. Our dishes are created using authentic recipes and flavours with a street food twist. Come and join us, let us take you on a culinary journey through the heart of Ireland and Scotland.

In 2023, we took home the top prize at the Scottish Street Food Awards and won Best Main Dish at the British Street Food Awards.

Bia is a modern, innovative take on the traditional Celtic flavours they grew up with.

Their signature dish, for instance, is cock-a-leekie arancini.

“Based on the traditional Scottish soup” says Amanda, “we have reimagined it as chicken and leek risotto balls with a Scottish cheddar centre and a lemon and pepper mayonnaise for dipping. Customers have praised the crunchy texture - and the gooey, cheesy middle.”
